Vessel Segmentation with Local Directional Active Contour Model

In this paper,the local kernel in the region-scalable model is decomposed into two directional linear local means,which are fitted to object and background,respectively.The proposed model is applied to vessel segmentation and achieves robust segmentation against the variety of initial location.Experiments give the segmentation results of clinic angiogram with the proposed method,which is compared to those with other methods.
