The effect of Organic Wastewater on TiO2 Photocatalytic reduction Cr(Ⅵ)

TiO₂ photocatalyst powder was prepared using sol-gel method.The photocatalytic reduction effect of Cr(VI) was studied when various organic wastewaters were added under ultra violet lamp.The results demonstrated that the photocatalytic reduction efficiency of Cr(VI) could not accelerated largely when time was longer.The photocatalytic reduction efficiency of Cr(VI) was best when pH=2.7.The additon of phenol was controlled 5%(v/v).The best hole scavenger among three organic wastewaters was leach.
