Applications of parameter optimization to controller designbased on genetic algorithm

As a random search Algorithm,Genetic Algorithm is widely used in Automatic Control engineering to optimize parameters of controllers.Based on the essential principles and practical applications,this paper discusses its applications to some control fields.Including PID control,Robust control,optimal control,system parameters identification,fuzzy logic control and ANN(Artificial Neural Net) control.Finally, the factors influencing the algorithm's precision and some improved ways are also debated in this paper.
