Development of Measuring Young’s Modulus and Poisson Ratio for High-temperature Material by Moire Interferometry

  • Analysis is made on the feasibility of measuring Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio for high-temperature material by moirè interferometry.Measuring sen sitivity of moirè interferometry is higher than that of extensometer,if the mea surea area of moirè interferometry is equal to that of extensometer. Aluminium-carborundum is applied in the test.Silastic grating is copied on the te st specimen.The test result is ideal while temperature is not higher than 350℃.
