Uncertainty evaluation in non-destructive testing of material

The importance and application of evaluation of uncertainty in non-destructive testing were introduced in the paper.The produced sources of uncertainty in nondestructive testing and evaluation method of uncertainty were discussed.Based on the experiment results of ultrasonic testing,uncertainty,combined uncertainty and expanded uncertainty were calculated,the expression of uncertainty was also presented.
