Statistical Analysis of the Causes of Cracks of U Type Abutment

Based on the investigation of U type abutment crack,the crack factors of U type abutment crack are analyzed.Taking the U type abutment of Changzhang highway as an example,where the stress and strain of the U type abutment under the work loads are simulated,this paper comes to the conclusion that the crack problem of the U type abutment can be attributed to the joint work of the soil stress and bridge stress.
