Mid-Point Descriptor and Straight Line Segment Matching

This paper presents a new algorithm for matching straight line segment.Firstly,it uses line gradient direction,gradient size,line segment length and midpoint location for roughly matching,and then extracts the line segment midpoint of the local gradient information to create a Mid-point descriptor to match accurately,finally uses artificial image and real image to do the experiments.
