The Nonlinear Analysis of Reinforced Frame Joints Under the Reversed Cyclic Load

Abstract
A nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete and reinforced light weight aggregate concrete peripheral joints under reversed cyclic load is studied.The incremental orthotropic model based on equivalent uniaxial strain and the "focal points model" under revered cyclic load was used.Two dimensional nonlinear finite element program has been developed for analyzing peripheral joints based on four experiments of ordinal concrete and light weight aggregate concrete peripheral joints.The calculated and measured are shown to be in good agreement.
