The quick method of determination of barium content

    Abstract
  • In this paper,the quick method of determination barium content in bane salts was studied.The method is based on the fact that barium ion reacts with sodium chromate standard solution to form precipitation of barium chromate,then the residue sodium chromate can be titrated with hydrochloric acid standard solution and bromocresol green-methyl red as indicator,so the content of barium in baric salt was found out.The method is easy and quick in operation and is used in the determination of barium in many kinds of baric salts.
