The effect of horizontal directional drilling in soft soil on the near environment during installing pipes

Due to the application of horizontal directional drilling in municipal engineering,it has its own advantage over pipes installed,and much more attention should be paid to the effect on near environment during installing pipes with horizontal directional drilling.The construction mechanics effects of horizontal directional drilling are analyzed,for instance,the pulling force,moment of torsion and mud fluid.By analysis of settlement displacement,the actual effect during practical construction is analyzed,and useful conclusion is made.
