Optimized Aerodynamic Design of Multi-stage Axial Compressor based on DOE

  • The premise of maintaining the adiabatic efficiency to further enhance the level load or level pressure ratio,which is the eternal punsuit of axinu flow com pressor derelop ment.We have introduce the DOE into the axial flow compressor initial design and post-optimization.Firstly,using the Latin hypercube design to maximize the efficiency and total pressure with the goal of matching criteria to determine the changes in the domain of the constraints to generate the test program.Secondly,accordance to the overall engine design requirements,select the appropriate initial design parameters to do the 1D inverse flow calculation,checking with the 1D flow calculation.Thirdly,on the qualified 1D calculation do 2D axsymmetric calculation and analysis of the operating characteristics of the compressor in design point and non-design point.After the analysis,it shows that based on the Latin Hypercube design,the compressor can obtain a high-level overall pressure ratio and a broader stability work scope.Finally,we do response surface optimization design of the compressor inlet total pressure and the first stage stator pre-rotation angle,the result shows that the optimized compressor overall performance has improved greatly than before.
