A Virtual Intrument for Measuring Cutting Temperature

    Abstract
  • This paper introduces a virtual instrument for measuring and processing cutting temperature data. The instrument is developed with LabVIEW. Thermo-voltage produced by thermoelectric couple of tool-workpiece is inputt into computer by a PCI-1200 card. The system is capable of displaying temperature flexuous curve, demarcating thermoelectric couple, establishing the exponential formulation and monitoring the cutting process.
