    Abstract
  • By investigating the water absorption characteristics of bentonite from TianDong county and its acid treated form,a combined desiccant(BE-1)with high hygroscopicity and mechanical strength was prepared.Compared with the popular adsorbent silica gel and aluminium oxide,BE-1 has the possibility to be used as edsiccant for H2、O2、N2 air etc.in industry.
