Application of Neutralizing Agent and Corrosion Inhibitor at the Fractionators Overhead

RP-01A multi-component organic amine neutralizing agent and RP-01B corrosion inhibitor were developed according to the characteristic of condensed water at the fractionators overhead.The quantities of these two additives were depended on the concentration of hydrochloric acid and hydrogen sulfide.Commercial application results showed that these two additives exhibited significant corrosion inhibition function.RP-01A maintained the pH value of condensed water smoothly,RP-01B had excellent film-forming properties.when they were applied in the fractionating tower of Atmospheric Distillation Unit and Delayed Coke Units,the iron content in condensed water can be control to less than 0.5 mg/L,and it can be control to less than 1.5 mg/L even in the case of serious corrosion caused by application of de-calcium agent.
