    Abstract
  • This paper reviewer the status of study on the cold-cranking(CCA) performence of automotive lead-acid batteries. It was showed: the temperatures has strong and different effect on the discharge capacity and charge receptibility of positive and negative electrodes.The main method of improvement on the CCA performance of an automotive battery is to change the batteryconfiguration. In addition,mathematical model can simulate thedischarge process.
