On the New Methods of Making Tool-Electrodes in EDM

The metbed to make the tool-electrices in EDM is one of the key problems in working out the cavities with a complex contour.One of the weakponts of the traditional methods lies in the high value of the electrode materials and the shaping of complicated profiles.The authors of this paper suggest to substitute the plaster together with the ABS plastics for the common-used graphite or bronze etc.and,further,the nonmetallic plating techniques for the plastic electrices.
