The numerical simulation of the thin-wall counter-gravity casting filling flow based on ANSYS

  • The paper introduces the basic principle of CFD and the concept of the Finite Volume Method(FVM),and plots the grid of model and discretizes the governing equation by using ANSYS 6.0.The filling flow of the thin-wall counter-pressure casting in different thickness and velocity is simulated.The result of the simulation is right and reasonable.And the influence disciplinarian of the thickness and velocity to the filling flow is acquired.
