Abstract
In this paper, the network ceramic reinforced aluminum matrix composites was studied in the dry sliding conditions of wear and a composite model of wear was established through a large number of experiments. The results showed that the wear resistance of composite materials were superior to aluminum matrix alloy, which mainly lied in the unique network structure that could restrict the plastic deformation of the matrix alloy and reduce the possibility of the contact between the counterface and the matrix, thereby the wear-resistant of composite materials were increased effectively; From the wear rate equation of composite materials,it was found that the largest impact on wear rate was speed, load took the second place, the smallest was wear time;Theoretical values of the wear rate equation were well in accordance with experiments, the wear model which was established matched with the realistic situation of wear.
