    Abstract
  • This paper reviews the research of theory and method of tunnel,summarizes four major segment designs,that is,routine method,modified routine method,multi-hinge ring method and beam-spring model method,and introduces shell-spring design model.A new idea of rock soil medium shield tunnel design model is put forward.
