Degree Reduction of H-Bézier curves

    Abstract
  • We focus on the problem of degree reduction of H-Bézier curves of degreen with Cr,s(r,s≥0) constraints based on the best least squares approximation.The explicit expression of new control points of the curve after degree reduction is presented,and several numerical examples of error estimation are given.Through the sample,it is concluded that this method can get a better reduction effect.
