Preparation and Characteristics of the Nano-magnetic Response Fe₃O₄/hydrOxypropyl Chitosan Compound Microspheres

The hydroxypropyl-chitsoan is prepared when the suitable concentration hydroxypropyl-chitosan water solution responds with the certain concentration sodiumpolyphosphate based on the ion gel,the hydroxypropyl-chitosan nanosphere with the particles size 0.6μm has been formed.Fe₃O₄ particles were prepared by hydrolysis titration.The laser particle size analysis showed that the particles were of narrower size distribution and small particle size.Then magnetic-HCS microspheres were prepared by cross-linking polymerization.TEM micrograph reveals that Fe₃O₄ was wrapped in micro-particles and the micro-particle diameter was about 0.8 μm.Through magnetic response analysis,the Fe₃O₄/HCS microspheres had a certain magnetic responsiveness.
