An Investigation on Enhancing the Load-Bearing Capacity of a Wall by Suitable Tie Column

This paper discusses a method that can increase the load-bearing capacity of wall,without increasing the thickness of the wall.This method is to lay out a certain amount of tie columns for the wall of the seven-eight floors composite construction.Through using this method,we can attain more usable floor area.
