Sphere Center Distance Tracking Acceleration Algorithm for BUMP Collision Detection Based on Vega Prime

  • In the virtual battlefield based on Vega Prime,the number of objects which participate in collision detection will affect the efficiency of collision detection directly.A range tracking algorithm was improved in this article,and the sphere center distance tracking algorithm was advanced.The algorithm can accelerate the BUMP collision detection algorithm in Vega Prime in order to remove the objects that are not impossible to collide with each other in the virtual battlefield apparently,and so as to reduce the number of objects participating in collision detection.
