Optimizing aluminum alloy cold extrusion process

6A02 & 6063 Al-alloy cold extrusion tests were introduced in this paper.Through special device the force was tested in the cold extrusion under the different cavity surface roughness,the extrusion speed,the lubricant and stock conditions.The optimized technologic parameters were obtained through using the orthogonal experiment L₉(3⁴).The results show that according to different material,relevant heat treatment method and mold roughness,etc.must be chosen correctly.This experiment has provided the feasible experimental technique and the production basis for aluminum alloy cold extrusion.
