Exploration on the Course Reform of “Principles and Structures of Aero Engines” for International Students Under the Background of “Air Silk Road

  • With the proposal of the “Aerial Silk Road” plan, it is imperative to cultivate aviation professionals along the “Belt and Road”. Therefore, improving the teaching quality of aviation courses for international students is an important research topic in higher education for international students. This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the course “Principles and Structures of Aero Engines” for international students in China, and reforms the teaching methods and modes of the course according to the course characteristics and the traits of the international students. By optimizing the content and methods of teaching, and revealing the ideological and political elements behind the teaching content, the learning initiative of international students can be fully mobilized, alongside that they are guided to understand and agree with the Chinese path and core values. In the learning of professional knowledge, recount the “Chinese Story” well by following the style of “moistening things silently”, so that the professional education of international students can achieve multiplier effect with half the effort.
