Practice and Exploration of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education for the Course of Introduction to Materials Science

  • The educational philosophy of curriculum ideological and political education is a beneficial exploration and innovative practice to realize the three-wide education. Strengthening the effective implementation of the educational philosophy of curriculum ideological and political education in curriculum teaching is an important topic and task for teachers in universities. In order to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education of professional courses, this paper takes “Introduction to Materials Science” course as an example, and focuses on the four aspects, that is, the cultivation of ideological and political ability of course teaching team, the extraction and mining of ideological and political materials and elements, the creation of student-centered ideological and political classroom, as well as the optimization of curriculum assessment methods containing ideological and political education. Good teaching and education results have been achieved by ideological and political education practice.
