Exploration and Practice of the Curriculum Ideological and Political Education Path of ‘Polymer Chemistry’, Highlighting Aviation Characteristics

Giving full play to the role of ‘curriculum ideological and political education’has become a new growth point in promoting ideological and political work in colleges and universities. However, at this stage, ‘preaching’ and ‘teaching’ cannot be seamlessly connected, and ideological and political work is still in empty dilemma without prominent "industry characteristics". Exploring the way to highlight industry characteristics and carry out "curriculum ideological and political" teaching in engineering professional curriculum through the aspects of reforming teaching objectives, ideological and political materials mining and reforming teaching content, exploring ideological and political elements integration path and reforming teaching methods was probed in this paper, relying on the teaching practice of ‘polymer chemistry’, the core course of polymer materials and engineering major, highlighting aviation characteristics. And we practised in teaching and obtained good results.
