Experimental Device of Embedded Intelligent Vision Digit Recognition based on STM32

  • An embedded intelligent vision digital recognition experimental device based on STM32 is developed. The experimental device realizes the vision recognition of digital characters. The experimental device of embedded digital recognition based on STM32 is developed with MDK5 software. It includes acquiring image information, image information preprocessing, locating digital character area of image, segmentation character and normalization character, recognition character and so on. The embedded digital recognition experimental device can locate the digital character area of the image, recognize the digital character area, and send the recognized value to the mobile phone through the ESP8266-wifi module in real time. The experimental device combines the knowledge of Machine Vision, digital electricity, model electricity and the application of single-chip microcomputer, and has certain extensibility and innovation, which can exercise students’ practical and innovative ability, it is beneficial to cultivate high-quality compound new engineering talents with the ability of engineering application and technological innovation.
