Improving EFL Learners’ Temporal Variables of Oral Fluency Based on WeChat: An Empirical Study

Abstract
Intelligent-terminal-based English speaking and listening has been gaining more and more concerns. In view of the existing problems in the traditional English class teaching, the model of classroom teaching +voice-based WeChat is proposed in this research for oral English teaching. Compared with the model of classroom teaching +face-to-face communication, the comparative research found that the gain scores on the measure of participants in the former model were significantly higher on the temporal variables of oral fluency, and the application of the former model could improve the students' learning participation and relieve their anxiety, finally providing instructive advice for the improvement of oral fluency based on internet-mediated communication.
