Construction of Aeronautical Characteristic Teaching Content in “Polymer Processing Engineering” Course

Abstract
Under the good situation of implementing the strategy of "strong aviation province" in Jiangxi Province, as the unique university of the aviation specialties in Jiangxi Province, the construction of aviation characteristics of undergraduate teaching in Nanchang Hangkong University is very necessary. Polymer materials (especially advanced resin matrix composites) are widely used in aerospace. Polymer processing engineering is one of the main courses for undergraduate majors of polymer materials and engineering. It is necessary to supplement some aviation characteristic teaching contents. In view of the lack of aviation characteristics in the course materials, the teachers of the course team rely on their own aviation education background and working experience of aviation enterprises to carry out the construction of aviation characteristics teaching content on the contents of the "China Aviation Materials Manual". In terms of teaching contents, they are supplemented that as follows. Autoclave moulding of carbon fiber reinforced bismaleimide laminates, biaxial stretching orientation of PMMA panel, and thermo-forming of the windshield glass, structural cementing technology of the honeycomb sandwich structural parts, the application of special sealing materials. There are comprehensive experiments of aeronautical material forming and processing, and practical teaching in aeronautical enterprises.
