Teaching Reform of Quality Engineering Ability Training of NDT Technical TalentsBased on the Background of National Quality Improvement Action

Implementation of the national quality improvement action put forward the higher requirements for colleges and universities to educate and train the quality talent. Some actions are taken in the paper, including setting up new curriculum, adjusting the course content and emphasizing the practice, to impart students majored in non-destructive testing (NDT) more systematic and comprehensive quality-related knowledge in several important aspects, such as inspection, standards, metrology, quality management, and quality certification, to enhance their quality engineering ability, so that they can meet the training requirements of quality talents in the new situation. Recent practice in teaching systematically quality knowledge has shown that quality engineering ability of NDT technical talents is improved effectively.
