Problems and Countermeasures of Developing Innovative Education in College Mathematics Teaching

It is an important direction in higher education reform to incorporate innovative entrepreneurship education into higher education. We combined with many years experience in practical teaching of mathematics and developing innovative education, four main problems existing in the development of innovative education in colleges and universities at present were pointed out. According to the problems, we should strengthen teachers innovative consciousness education, reform teaching methods, optimize teaching contents, pay attention to the training of innovative thinking methods, and improve college students learning methods. This paper puts forward the countermeasures of carrying out innovative education in college mathematics teaching from six aspects of teacher management and assessment mechanism in order to cultivate the innovative thinking ability of college students and improve the classroom teaching effect of college mathematics.
