Seismic Performance Analysis of Staggered Floor Frame Structure with Vertical Haunch Connections

  • Taking one staggered floor frame structure of the irregular plane structure as research object, the response spectrum and elastic time history analysis of the structure were carried out, the maximum displacement angle exceeded the specification limit during the elastic time history analysis. Themeasure of vertical haunch was taken at the staggered joints of the frame structure, the natural vibration period, maximum displacement and displacement angle of the common staggered frame structure and the staggered floor frame structure with vertical haunch connections were compared and analyzed. The maximum displacement angle of the staggered floor frame structure with vertical haunch connections satisfied the specification requirements. The results show that the measure of vertical haunch could effectively reduce the maximum floor displacement and displacement angle, improve the seismic performance of the structure, and provide reference for similar projects.
