Research on New Agricultural Pest Trapping and Killing Monitoring System Based on Binarized Image Recognition

  • Aiming at the waste of manpower and material resources caused by traditional pest detection, a novel detection equipment and Monitoring system for trapping and killing agricultural pests were developed. The device can recognize the images taken to calculate the number of trapped and killed pests. Users can use smartphones to view pest infestation and environmental data in real-time through cloud service centers, and can remotely control the equipment's camera and trap lights. This paper provides a new statistical method of agricultural pests calculation based on the detection equipment of agricultural pests trapping and killing.
