Experimental Research on Measuring Young's Modulus and Poisson Ratio for High-temperature Metallic Material by laser Moiré

  • According to the basic principle of moiré interferometry, the elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio of aeronautical materials at high temperature are measured by laser moiré interferometry. The electronic chemistry technique has been used to etch a high density cross zero-thickness grating on the surface of an alloy with single edge notch specimen. All kinds of Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio accurately were testified by this experiment method and draw the conclusion that laser moiré interferometry is the most advanced method for measuring Young's modulus and Poisson ratio for high-temperature metallic material.
