Temporal-Spatial Dynamic Monitoring and Improvement Path Analysis of Air Quality in Pingxiang City
-
Abstract
Based on the continuous data from air automatic monitoring sites in Pingxiang City from 2011 to 2016, according to the second level in the Ambient Air Quality Standards (GB3095—2012),the temporal-spatial dynamic changes and influential factors of ambient air quality were analyzed by using the comprehensive pollution index and AQI index. The results showed that the concentration of SO2 and NO2 increased first and then decreased, the growth of PM10 was obvious in 2015,with no obvious fluctuation of CO and PM2.5, while the concentration of O3 showed a significant upward trend. During a year, the concentrations of SO2, NO2, PM10, CO and PM2.5 were all high in the first and fourth quarters, and low in the second and third quarters, showing a U-shaped distribution. However, the concentration of O3 is the opposite. Spatial variation showed that there were some spatial differences in the concentrations of SO2, PM2.5 and O3, and no significant difference in the concentrations of NO2, PM10 and CO. The comprehensive ambient air pollution index of Pingxiang City appeared in a downtrend, and the air quality improved gradually. However, air particulates and ozone pollution problems appeared. On the basis of the above study, improvement methods for ambient air quality were put forward.
