Computer Simulation Design of Arc Boundary in Aircraft Cabin Fire

  • In order to perform FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) software simulation of aircraft cabin fire, Auto CAD software is used to draw dimension of arc boundary. DXF file is obtained to import into Pyrosim. The visual modeling software, as a reference of background image, the rectangular block is used to linearly fit the arc boundary of aircraft cabin and some commands in FDS are also employed to simplify the modeling process at the same time. At last, FDS software is used to perform the simulation of aircraft cabin fire. The analysis results show that the simulation data are in good agreement with the actual monitoring data, which proves the feasibility and accuracy of the modeling method. This modeling method, to some extent, can reduce the complexity of the modeling, save modeling time, and provide a new method for curved boundary modeling.
