A Comparative Study on Prediction Model of Ultimate Bearing Capacity of Self-balanced Pile Testing Method

  • Combining with an engineering example of self-balanced test results in Nanchang, it's introduced the conversion from the self-balanced test results to the traditional static loading method of the load-displacement curve, and it is proved that the conversion is safer according to the principle of equal load. It is predicted the ultimate bearing capacity of piles according to the three basic function curve models and the growth curve model, and obtained that exponential curve model and growth curve model have better applicability according to fitting precision, and the reduction factor in Nanchang area is suggested. The research work is of great significance and reference value for the practice and popularization of self-balanced test pile method in Nanchang area.
