Thread Parameter Detection Based on Machine Vision

  • This test studies the thread parts with LabVIEW as the development platform. Using traditional image edge processing and Harris corner detection algorithm for calculating thread parameters, the content of thread parameters measuring includes major diameter, minor diameter, pitch diameter, thread angle and height of thread, etc. Basing on virtual instrument technology, the thread parameter detection system realizes the acquisition of image, processing, size measurement and integrated analysis. It enhances the efficiency of thread parameter detection.
