Abstract
In this paper, using the method of dry-wet phase inversion, we made been spun new HNBR/PVC hollow fibers damping material successfully. The influence of HNBR/PVC hollow fiber's damping property has been discussed which aroused by polymer concentration and blends proportion. The results show that the peak of damping reach the maximum of 0.66 for HNBR hollow fiber when the polymer concentration is 22% and the mass content of HNBR in HNBR/PVC blends is 10%. The effects of hollow balloon on materials damping property also have been discussed initially. The damping performance of hydrogenated nitrile rubber hollow fiber prepared by two different spinning nozzle has been compared. The results show that the size of the nozzle also have a certain extent influence on the damping properties of HNBR hollow fibers materials. HNBR hollow fibers made by greater nozzle will have higher damping peak value. It shows that hollow balloon is helpful to improve the additional structure damping of materials.
