Influence of the Wing upon Performance of after Mounted Propeller

Abstract
The influence of the wing upon performance of after mounted propeller was analyzed by solving RANS function using rotating coordinate system. The results indicate that the existence of wing increases both thrust force and torque of propeller. Downwash flow of wing change the direction of flow to propeller, which can enlarge the flow rate of propeller;Moreover, pressure both in front of propeller and behind propeller is higher than it without wing and it is more obvious behind propeller. The pure mass flow across the propeller increases compared without wing, which leads to the increase of thrust force of propeller. The results can be used as inference of engineering application.
