Experimental Study on Ultimate Bearing Capacity of Pipe with Hole

  • Using the model test method, the test of ultimate bearing capacity and stress concentration for three kinds of the pipe-pile with hole has been investigated. The results show that the reduce of ultimate bearing capacity of radial opening hole model of pipe-pile is the lowest, and it's stress concentration coefficient is smaller relatively. These results can provide reliably experimental basis for the design of pipe-pile with hole.
