2197Al-Li Alloy Alkalization Milling Technology and Influence Factors

  • In this paper,the solution formula for 2197Al-Li alloy was determined by orthogonal experiments,and the major influencing factors of milling ratio, surface roughness, ratio of milling width and depth were investigated. The major ingredients include NaOH 250g/L、Na2S 30g/L、TEA 40g/L and Al3+10g/L can get better performance of surface processing. Milling ratio depends on the concentration of NaOH、Al3+ and temperature. And it is improved with the increasing NaOH concentration and temperature. However, Al3+concentration increased, the milling speed reduced. When the concentration of Al3+ more than 120g/L, the milling solution will failed. Adding TEA, Na2S or Al3+ in milling solution can effectively reduce the sample surface roughness. Adding a certain amount of Na2S and Al3+ is advantageous to the milling process of etching ratio control. The suitable milling temperature of 2197 Al-Li alloy are ranged from 90℃ to 95℃.
