Study on Compactness and Apparent Quality Control for the Self-compacting Concrete

The effects of foam resistance agent and infiltrating formwork texture on compactness and apparent quality of concrete have been investigated by contrast test method. The results show that the compactness, apparent quality and strength of self-compacting concrete are improved by adding foam resistance agent. Moreover, the apparent quality can be further improved by using infiltrating formwork texture. Hence,it is a good way to enhance the compactness and apparent quality of concrete by adding foam resistance agent and using infiltrating formwork texture, meanwhile, it is benefit to improve the durability of concrete.
