Review on the Soil Compaction Effect of Jacked Pile

    Abstract
  • The higher pore water pressure will take place during jacked pile driving in soft soil area, which will cause compaction effect and affect the surrounding engineering environment. In this paper, we reviewed and analyzed the compaction effect of jacked pile driving from theoretical research and experimental research, and pointed out the problems existed in compaction effect. Finally, several suggestions on research methods and treatment measures to reduce the compaction effect are proposed.
