The Microstructure and Properties in-situ TiB2 Particulates Reinforced AL-7 Si Composites

  • 摘要: 采用混合盐法制备了原位自生TiB2颗粒增强Al-7Si复合材料.扫描电镜观察结果表明,制备的原位TiB2颗粒分布均匀,其最大尺寸在900nm左右,平均尺寸在400nm左右.TiB2颗粒对a-Al和共晶si都具有显著的细化效果.其复合材料的力学性能和干摩擦磨损性能较其基体有明显的提高.

     

    Abstract: LSM was employed to fabricate in situ TiB2 particulates reinforced Al-7Si composites.Scanning alloy observation shows that TiB2 particulates are well distributed within the matrix and their average magnitude is about 400 nm in diameter.TiB2 not only acts as a grain refiner for primary α-Al,but also as a modifier of Si in eutectic mixture.The mechanical property and wear resistance of the alloy are significantly improved with the addition of TiB2 particulates.
