Abstract: The paper constructs a graphical operating snort intrusion detection system based on the Windows platform,and through the development of procedures suitable to GUI snort output plug-ins and the rule set-up modules,creates a more appropriate windows platform snort intrusion detection system.The operation of the snort is simplified.
