3D Finite Element Simulation of Crack Dynanmic Propagation Based on VUMAT

  • 摘要: 文章基于ABAQUS/EXPLICIT平台的VUMAT接口,直接对材料积分点添加自定义本构方程和失效准则,开发了三维裂纹动态扩展子程序.在网格适当加密的情况下就能完成三维裂纹动态扩展模拟.在加载策略上选用适应性较强的增量法,直接在软件中通过增量步控制求解过程和收敛性,计算结果与试验结果一致.本文方法基于商业有限元软件ABAQUS,仅对材料本构方程和积分点失效进行编码,无需调整和重新划分网格,操作简单,计算效率高,适合推广到复杂的本构关系和大型工程模型.

     

    Abstract: User material subroutine VUMAT in the finite element software ABAQUS/EXPLICIT is developed for the simulation of 3D crack dynamic propagation by importing user defined constitutive equation and failure criterion on the integration points.Therefore,the simulation of 3D crack dynamic propagation can be accomplished using a moderately refined FE model.The robust incremental method is used,and the process of computing and convergence are controlled by incremental steps.The computing result has shown excellent consistency with the experimental result.The subroutine is coded for the constitutive equation of the integration points,therefore the FE grid does not need to be remeshed during the computing.The method is operational and efficient,so it can be used to solve the different constitutive equation and complex engineering model.
