Abstract: A ccording to the serious damage of the power transmission lines of Jiangxi province caused by ice disaster in 2008 and the power network distribution of Jiangxi the design standards of power transmission lines and the causes for fall of power towers,this paper based on the available observation and forecasting leve land by reference to the Pre- warning Signal of Meteorological Disaster and the Guide to Prevention,explores the pre-warning of ice-covered power transmission lines in Jiangxi.
