Abstract:
A multi-focus image fusion algorithm based on wavelet transform and local dispersion is proposed.At first,the multi-focus images were decomposed by the wavelet transform.Then,the high frequency coefficients of each direction were fused according to local dispersion rule,and the low frequency coefficients were fused according to weightiness rule.Finally,the fused image was obtained by taking inverse wavelet transform.The experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method outperforms the methods based on selecting large absolute wavelet coefficients and using local deviation rule.
